GRUNWALD with sustainable, independent and secure power supply
GRUNWALD has made significant efforts and substantial financial investments towards achieving a sustainable, independent, and secure power supply.
In 2010, Grunwald already installed an efficient, 1,200 sqm tube photovoltaic plant on the flat roofs of the production and assembly halls. In order to update the electrical infrastructure and to ensure an independent power supply, an additional large-scale photovoltaic system has been installed in 2023. The expansion amounts to over 600 kWp (kilowatt peak). This corresponds to an output of 600,000 kilo watt hours. For these amounts of electricity we also had to invest in a new transformer station with 1,000 KVA.
Grunwald thus has a redundant and secure power supply in all parts of the building and secures the continuous manufacture of all machines and production parts without any breakdowns.
Last but not least, two high-speed quick charger columns with a total of four charging points for electrical cars were installed next to our parking lot.
Through this commitment, we are contributing significantly to sustainable development. We are driven by the belief that consistent investment in this area will help us remain a reliable partner for our clients in the future.
